In the movie A.C.O.D., Adam Scott plays a man named Carter, who appears to be a well-adjusted adult child of divorce. However, when his younger brother decides to tie the knot, Carter's life takes an unexpected turn. He is forced to confront the bitter chaos of his parents' divorce that he thought he had put behind him.
Carter's parents, played by Catherine O'Hara and Richard Jenkins, are both eccentric and divisive characters. As Carter tries to navigate their volatile relationship, he also finds himself caught in the middle of their ongoing disagreements.
